This kit is for making instant chlorine dioxide. The dropper bottle is not suitable for preparing a chlorine dioxide solution (CDS) using the jar method.
For CDS production, we recommend our large-format production kit (2x500 mL).
How to use it?
Preparation
Mix 1 drop from each bottle (A + B) in a clean, dry container. Allow to react for 30 seconds to 1 minute until a yellow color appears, then immediately dilute in the water to be treated.
Dosage for 1 L of water: 3 drops from each bottle, mix, wait 1 minute, pour into the water. Let stand for at least 30 minutes before consumption. Never consume the pure mixture.
Authorized uses (EU biocidal regulations)
- Disinfection of non-potable water in emergency situations (travel, hiking, health crisis) — indicative dose 0.2–0.4 mg/L of final ClO₂.
- Disinfection of inert surfaces — apply the fresh solution with a cloth or spray, let stand for at least 5 minutes before rinsing.
